The Drug Intervention Program is a program of the Judicial Branch of the State of Connecticut. Defendants who are non-violent but drug dependent may qualify for the program. Treatment and services are determined by a judge for those who qualify. The health center provides the recommended services, which may include detoxification, inpatient treatment or intensive outpatient treatment, and works with the court system to monitor the progress of defendants while in the program.
