The health center’s South Central Rehabilitation Clinic (SCRC) provides 24-hour medical evaluation and detox services to adults. SCRC offers protocols for detox from alcohol, opioids, and benzodiazepines. Clients in need of residential medically monitored detoxification services are admitted to the acute care unit. The average length of stay is three to five days. Clients admitted receive medical and counseling services including nursing care, physical examination, medical monitored detoxification, bio-psychosocial assessment, HIV risk assessment, individual therapy, group therapy, psycho-educational groups, 12-step and spirituality groups. In addition, psychiatric consultations, medical evaluations and stabilization services for dual-diagnosis patients are provided.
